I made my first photographs as a kid in the San Francisco Bay Area. Kodachrome helped me tell the stories of my teen years; friends, water skiing, skateboarding, surfing in Santa Cruz.
Once in a local bookstore I came across the first edition of a "source book" for photographers. I was captivated by the Advertising photography. That book started me on a path that later led to my studies and graduation from Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara California, with a BA degree in Advertising/Illustration Photography.
From there I sought out the best and brightest Ad photographers. I put all my energy into assisting them and learning everything! I worked with some of the best, from California, New York, Atlanta, Santa Fe, and Minneapolis. They are still my mentors and friends.
My clients are smart business and creative people. I work to become a valuable part of their teams, to help tell the stories of their products, services and companies. They know that I put my heart and soul into every project. I've been at this a while now, producing and shooting jobs professionally for the past 28 years.
The last few years I've added aerial photography to my repertoire and am now an FAA certified Part 107 sUAS (drone) pilot.
